Biografía

Libby enjoyed great success at the 2008 Beijnig Olympic Games. She won a Gold medal in the 100m Butterfly Event and narrowly missed out on another in the 100m Freestlye where she took Silver.

Libby has just begun training with new coach Grant Stoelwinder, so we are sure there are more great results to come!

Libby won five gold medals at the 2006 and 2007 FINA World Championships. She is a current world record holder in three individual women’s short course events: 50m and 100m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly.

She also holds two world relay titles, and is an Olympic gold medallist in the women’s 4 x 100m Freestyle. She married swimmer Luke Trickett in the Easter of 2007.

Formerly known as Libby Lenton, she began using her married name in Swimming following her selection for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
